ANDRES AKA RDSND

MUSIC PRODUCER & AUDIO ENGINEER

Music Producer  and Audio Engineer Andres “R3D5AND” Rearte was born in the East Coast of the United States. At age six he began studying classical music and playing his first piano concerts. His daily pastime was to play vinyl records nonstop from his dad's vast music collection. By age fourteen he was DJing at parties and soon started joining local rock bands with friends as a singer and guitar player. Later on in life he moved to the West Coast to pursue a career in music.

After graduating from Musicians Institute (MIT) in California with a degree in Commercial Music and a minor in Audio Engineering, he started working for well known studios in Los Angeles. During this time, he got to work in all aspects of audio and music, from recording and mixing TV commercials for well known Corporate brands,  to working with Film, TV shows, sound design, composing and foley. The best part of his experience with music production came during his work time with The Enterprise Recording Studios and Westlake, learning daily from audio engineers such as Dave Pensado, Rob Chiarelli, Jean Marie Horvat and producers such as Teddy Riley and Rodney Jerkins to name a few

The artists that record at these type of studios are "A" Listers, ranging from the late Michael Jackson, to NIN, Madonna and Britney Spears to give an idea.

Here he got to work on sessions ranging from Destiny’s Child, Brian McKnight, Lionel Richie, XZibit, Coolio, Method Man, TLC, Christina Aguilera, Lil Kim, Ice Cube, Divididos and many others.

After some more experience Andres went on to open up his own studio. Here he got to record a Podcast for Future Sounds with Larry Little ( ex-manager of The Killers ), mix music for film and record and mix artists, such as Loch Lomond, The Builders and The Butchers, Lilofee and others.

As a composer, producer and remixer, Andres still commonly works at studios outside his homebase, but generally prefers to work out of his custom-built studio which combines the strengths of analog gear with the state of the art cutting edge digital gear.
